EFFEG holds a hands-on skill acquisition workshop from the 15th to the 18th, empowering girls with practical training in cosmetics production, pastry making, and detergent manufacturing — equipping them with real-world entrepreneurial skills for sustainable living.
EFFEG organizes a comprehensive four-day skill acquisition workshop running from the 15th to the 18th, bringing together girls for an immersive, hands-on learning experience across three key areas of practical entrepreneurship. In the cosmetics segment, participants are trained in the production of rubbing oil, perfume, and air freshener — everyday products with strong market value. The pastry session covers the making of fish pie, chin chin, doughnuts, and cake, giving girls the confidence and technique to venture into the thriving food business. The detergent production segment rounds out the training with lessons in manufacturing OMO, liquid soap, savon, and turmeric soap — products in constant household demand. The workshop reflects the commitment of EFFEG to move girls from dependency to self-sufficiency, arming them not just with skills, but with the tools to build businesses, generate income, and lead their own economic futures.
