EFFEG presents the A Girl Without Tears Training Conference 2026, a powerful two-day event held in August under the theme Self Discovery: Finding You. The conference brings together pre-teens, teenagers, and young women aged 8 to 25 — including secondary school and university students, out-of-school youth, and young advocates — for a transformative experience built around identity, healing, and growth. Over two days, participants engage in keynote speeches from inspiring women and community leaders, panel discussions on education, mental health, leadership, and entrepreneurship, and interactive group sessions designed to spark honest self-reflection and peer connection. Practical workshops cover confidence building, communication, career development, financial literacy, and income-generating skills, while structured mentoring circles connect girls with experienced role models and supportive organisations. Abuse prevention training and personal safety education are also woven into the program. The conference exists because too many girls grow up carrying silent questions, hidden fears, and dreams quietly pushed aside.
